Submission for Topics 1-18

Submitted papers for Topics 1-18 in Parallel and Distributed Computing are expected to be original, unpublished and not simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere under review. Papers should not exceed 10 pages in LNCS style and should be submitted electronically as a single pdf (preferred) or postscript file.

Please indicate clearly the topic the submission belongs to.

Submission for Topic 19

Submitted papers for Topic 19: "Demonstration of Parallel and Distributed Computing" are expected to present an original, unpublished description of a demonstration work. Papers should not exceed 4 pages in LNCS style and should be submitted electronically as a single pdf (preferred) or postscript file. The submission should not be under review or in submission elsewhere.

Authors of a demonstration paper should:

  • state the topic (1-18)  to which the demonstration is related,
  • state the originality of the submission in terms of the prototype demonstrated,
  • describe the mechanism for demonstrating the prototype at Euro-Par 2003,
  • describe the original scientific content which is the basis for the demonstrated prototype (provide links to related research articles, technical reports etc.)

Authors of a demonstration paper may support their submissions by providing

  • links to Web-interfaces for the prototype,
  • links to snapshot of the prototype,
  • links to videos and/or animations which show the functionality of the prototype.

Submission Style (LaTeX or MS Word)

The papers shall use the Springer LNCS Style Formats that are available here

The organization committee recommends authors to use LaTeX to prepare their papers. However, authors wishing to prepare their documents in MS Word may find a template here. Please convert your submission to pdf.

All accepted papers will be available at the conference in the proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Previous proceedings of Euro-Par from recent years appeared as LNCS volumes. Since the LNCS are also published in full electronic version, authors of accepted papers will be expected to submit the source files (using LaTeX) of all parts of the manuscript in addition to the camera-ready paper.

For any questions or problems regarding the paper submission process please email to: europar@itec.uni-klu.ac.at
